I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I graduated
from Tokyo University, receiving a Bachelor Degree in Technology in 1975.
After working for a governmental corporation, thereafter for an American
company in its legal division, I passed the bar examination in 1987. I
then entered the First Tokyo Bar Association and Patent Attorneys Association
in 1989, and worked for nine years at the Yamasaki Law & Patent Office
with Mr. Yukuzo Yamasaki, a former Chairperson of the Intellectual Property
Committee of the Japan Federation of Bar Associations. My focus is in the
field of intellectual property law and international licensing agreements.
I have prosecuted patent infringement cases in the fields of machinery,
electrical apparatus, telecommunication, chemistry, pharmacy, and computer
hardware and software, making good use of my technical background.
I hope for your success in your business, and that I may be of assistance to you in patent infringement or other intellectual property-related matters in Japan.
